Funding Options

As unique as the garden.

Your gifts can support our unique garden in a variety of ways, including general donations that offset daily expenses or by providing a place for loved ones to be remembered. Our annual tuber sale also provides financial funding, and at the same time brings dahlia glory to your world.  Donations for sponsoring a garden row can honor significant personal relationships and estate giving will provide the opportunity to join Dahlia Hill’s long-term mission of sustaining this valuable community venue.

General Donation Gifts

Help sustain Dahlia Hill’s mission.

100% of your donation will be used to maintain Dahlia Hill’s unique garden, sustain the stunning dahlias, and expand community outreach. The Dahlia Hill Society’s Benefactor’s Monument recognizes gifts of $1000 or more, and you can increase your gift impact by partnering with an employer-matching program for charitable organizations. However, ALL contributions are invaluable and every penny counts!

Memorial Circle

New life arises from the ashes.

A circular planter at the top of Dahlia Hill has been designated as a Memorial Circle. In this area, some or all of an individual’s cremated remains may be integrated into the soil, to continue the cycle of life—nourishing and rising again as a dahlia. Names and life dates of those who are interred are placed on the Memorial Circle plaque and may also be entered in a Book of Memory, located inside the museum. Arrangements for a memorial service at the time of interment are left to the discretion of family and friends.

A donation is requested from anyone wishing to place ashes in the Memorial Circle. To request more information about the Memorial Circle, please complete and send the form below.

Tuber Sale at Dahlia Hill

Annual Tuber Sale

Purchase tubers for your own garden!

This popular sale of Dahlia Hill grown tubers is held annually on the last two Saturdays in May.  Saturday hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, with additional hours from 9 am to noon on Monday through Friday of the week between.

Approximately 70% of our 350 varieties produce enough tubers for the sale.  Available tuber varieties will be posted prior to the sale. To confirm sale details visit our website and Facebook and Instagram pages.

Row Sponsorship

Sponsor a row of dazzling dahlias.

A donation to sponsor a row of dahlias allows an individual or organization the unique opportunity to provide recognition that honors the memory of family and friends or celebrates significant events or occasions.  A plaque is placed at the head of the designated row which lists the name of the sponsor(s) and the recipient(s) of the gift, and a brief acknowledgment.

Dahlia Hill started with a child’s gift of 6 dahlia bulbs to her mother, a father’s ingenuity to plant them on a hill, and a family’s vision to build a gardening legacy of education, community building, and horticultural development.
